September 1, 2026 – We are delighted to announce another important milestone in the development of CSSP Holding GmbH: With the successful acquisition of AKE Knebel GmbH & Co. KG, we are expanding our industrial group to include a leading international manufacturer of precision tools.

With this move, the CSSP Group acquires an internationally established manufacturer of precision tools with decades of experience in the development and production of high-quality industrial and machining tools. AKE is a leading provider of circular saw blades, milling tools, and other precision tools for wood, plastic, and metal processing, and holds a strong international market position.

With a workforce of around 500 employees and seven national and international subsidiaries, AKE has stood for the highest quality, innovative strength, and technological expertise for decades. The majority of its products are developed and manufactured in Germany and enjoy an excellent global reputation.

Through this acquisition, AKE gains a long-term, family-run owner. Our goal is to continue the company’s successful development together with the existing management team and to drive its sustainable growth.

Particular emphasis is placed on consistently strengthening international sales activities, expanding existing markets, and tapping into new sales markets in Europe, the Americas, and Australia. At the same time, we aim to further extend AKE’s leadership in quality and innovation, strategically strengthen the service business, and invest in the company’s long-term future.

The past few months have shown that the transformation initiated is taking effect. Today, the company boasts significantly improved operational performance, a competitive cost base, and a strengthened market position.
